Almeria was inspired by our family trips to the hill top village of Mojacar in southern Spain and the delightful boho shops that were a big draw in the evenings . I love the patterned ceramic bowls, painted mirrors and sarongs that hung over the doorways. I think the light in the Mediterranean regions plays such an important part of my design and my love of colour. Travel is such a huge inspiration to my work.
Almeria is a fusion of bohemian pattern and geometric shapes in bright colours against an off white ground and set of by a wide pink border. A very pretty design on silk crepe, which is soft to the touch and had beautiful drape.
