I wanted to create some designs that felt more autumnal in their colour palette and this design with it’s ikat style artwork has a warmth without being too bright . The Khaki green, teal, lemon and dark grey blue work well against the deep pink ground to create a palette that isn’t the usual autumnal palette but would look fantastic in the colder months, under a coat or with a high neck cosy jumper for a pop of colour and additional warmth.
. The intricate ikat style border is quite wide and frames the central mandala, which almost has the feel of a snowflake.
