Designed in house from original artwork, this Jacobean Floral design was inspired by the intricate embroidery style of the 17th century called Jacobean Crewel work. Exuberantly colourful, patterned blooms and fruits are set against a sage green ground. The trailing vines lend themselves to the longer scarf design and the Silk crepe has a soft feel that drapes well. This design was fun to create and it is a style of painting that I return to time and time again. Jacobean Floral is one of our new range of designs with a beautifully sewn hand rolled hem.
