Tally Ho! is a fun take on the idea of the hunt, having grown up in the English country side, I was very familiar with typical paintings of hunting scenes but also of Norman Thelwell and his artwork of little girls in full riding habits bouncing along on the backs of a long suffering ponies. My experience of horse riding was not very glamorous or long lived, so this idea of the rider summersaulting through the air, wasn’t hard to imagine. I am particularly fond of the border on this design, which gives it a unique feel. Printed on silk crepe, which takes colour so beautifully and is soft and easy to wear.
